This is a difficult choice. (13/7,8/5) the actual play: Make the 5 point leaving a double shot for 4s and 5s + 62 (22 shots) plus the very strong 3s making the silver anchor plus 66, 22, 11, 21. Or (9/3, 6/3) leaving only one blot with some capital on the midpoint, challenging white to hit, run or be subjected to an attack. With a worse timing, Black needs some threats to slow down White's prime building. Or (24/18, 8/5) duplicating 4s challenging White into a blot hitting contest with a better board and splitting the stragglers. I could not see the merits of the second option then. |
